On April 17, 2025, the Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with representatives of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Institute.
During the meeting, the parties discussed developing investment guides and presentation materials for implementing projects in renewable energy sector for small and medium-sized enterprises. The discussion centered on ensuring the sustainable development of the economy by creating stable and affordable energy sources.
The parties also exchanged views on enhancing the Agency’s institutional capacity and expanding its analytical capabilities. This included organizing training programs for Agency employees to improve skills in working with investors, conducting negotiations, and attracting and managing foreign direct investments.
In conclusion of the meeting, the sides agreed to maintain regular dialogue to further refine joint priorities and deepen cooperation.
