On April 15, 2025, the Investment Promotion Agency held a meeting with Isil Caglayan, Executive Director for Debt Capital Markets, and Robert Fernandez, Global Head of BancTrust & Co. Investment Bank (BancTrust).
The discussions centered on unlocking debt and blended financing solutions to support both state-owned enterprises and private sector growth. BancTrust shared successful credentials from its portfolio of executed deals in emerging markets, notably the Eurobond issuance of Uzpromstroybank and private credit transactions for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and other leading Turkish corporates. The bank also proposed the development of customized investment products tailored to international funds seeking exposure to high-growth, reform-driven economies.
In response, the Agency showcased major investment projects of key national companies, including UzTMK, AMMK, NMMC, along with proposals put forward by private sector.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to deepen collaboration through joint participation in international roadshows and investor outreach campaigns led by the Agency.
