On April 14, 2025, the Investment Promotion Agency hosted a meeting with representatives of the Japanese company MITSUI & Co.
During the meeting, both sides discussed opportunities for joint projects in Uzbekistan, particularly in key sectors such as poultry farming, industrial production, and energy. The Japanese side expressed interest in the project to establish a poultry cluster based on modern genetic technologies and a cooperation system in collaboration with Uzbek companies.
In its turn, the Agency provided information on the conditions created for investors in our country, the preferences in special economic zones, and expressed its readiness to offer comprehensive support at every stage of investment project implementation.
MITSUI & Co. reiterated its intention to expand its presence in Uzbekistan with the support of the Agency.
