The Investment Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a series of bilateral meetings with international partners, including the leadership of AIM Global Foundation, representatives of the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark, the delegations of Invest Qatar and Qatar Development Bank and Malaysian companies.

Meeting with AIM Congress

On September 18, 2025, acting Director of the Agency, Mansurjon Rasulev, met with
Mr. Dawood Al Shezawi, President of AIM Global Foundation and Chairman of the AIM Congress Organizing Committee. The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation, including the organization of a dedicated “Uzbekistan Investment Forum” session within the framework of AIM Congress. They agreed to strengthen collaboration within AIM Congress and the Tashkent International Investment Forum, and to jointly promote investment projects in priority sectors such as energy, industry and innovation.

Cooperation with the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO)

On September 23, 2025, representatives of the Agency met with a delegation from EIFO led by Mr. Jakob Pilegaard Hansen, Head for cooperation with large companies. The Danish side expressed interest in launching joint projects in energy and the food industry. The parties also explored potential cooperation in logistics, information technology, and the digital economy, including investment opportunities in the development of IT Park and the creation of modern data centers. EIFO confirmed its readiness to support the organization of a roadshow in Denmark to attract new partners and investors to projects in Uzbekistan.

Partnership with Invest Qatar and Qatar Development Bank

On September 24, 2025, representatives of the Agency and delegations from Invest Qatar and Qatar Development Bank explored sectors of infrastructure, energy, mining, digital economy, logistics, and the food and textile industries as perspective avenues for partnership. Invest Qatar expressed its readiness to facilitate the involvement of major corporations as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, with the support of Qatar Chamber, Qatar Businessmen Association, and Qatar Development Bank.

Meeting with the Malaysia-Uzbekistan Business Alliance

On September 25, 2025, the leadership of the Agency hosted a delegation from the Malaysia-Uzbekistan Business Alliance (MUBA), including representatives from Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PERNAS), SME Corporation Malaysia, Serai Group, Nimroc, Bonda Kiddo, and others. Malaysian entrepreneurs showed interest in launching projects in Uzbekistan, including the opening of restaurants and fast-food enterprises. They also explored cooperation in education, in particular the creation of modern educational institutions based on the Islamic model.
