Empowering women is not just a social imperative, it is an economic one.
At hashtag #TIIF2025, a high-level panel on “Bridging the Gap: Building Inclusive Ecosystems for Women Entrepreneurs” brought together policy leaders, development partners, and entrepreneurs to chart a bold path forward.
Moderated by Tatyana Bystrushkina, American Chamber Uzbekistan Executive Director, the session focused on unlocking systemic support for women-led enterprises and removing structural barriers to growth.
“Thanks to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s reforms, and to growing investments in entrepreneurship, we have seen more and more female business owners,” said Nozimakhon Davletova, Head of Foreign Policy Analysis and Economic Cooperation Division, Presidential Administration, Republic of Uzbekistan, highlighting a visible shift in the national business landscape.
Leading voices from UNDP, EBRD, and Asian Development Bank (ADB) reinforced that inclusive entrepreneurship ecosystems are not just aspirational, they are achievable with the right policy mix, targeted finance, and sustained multi-stakeholder collaboration.
From capital access to mentorship, from local policy to global best practice, Uzbekistan is prioritizing gender-inclusive growth as a strategic advantage.
When women rise, economies do too.
