On September 2–3, 2025, the Belarusian city of Vitebsk hosted the 3rd Belarus - Uzbekistan Women Entrepreneurs Business Forum under the theme “Belarus - Uzbekistan: Cooperation as a Driver of Sustainable Development.” Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbaeva, led the delegation of Uzbekistan.

The program featured a plenary session and seven thematic sections focusing on key areas of bilateral cooperation: light industry, mechanical engineering, tourism, education, science and healthcare, the agro-industrial sector, youth policy, and regional development.

During the session “Prospects for Cooperation in the Mechanical Engineering Sector”, acting Deputy Director of the Uzbekistan Investment Promotion Agency, Roksana Nesor, delivered a presentation on Uzbekistan’s investment climate. She emphasized the importance of ongoing joint projects with Belarusian companies and highlighted promising areas for collaboration, including mechanical engineering, agriculture, food production, pharmaceuticals, and construction.

The forum provided a productive platform for exchange of best practices, strengthening business ties, and discussing new initiatives. At the conclusion of the event, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding economic, investment, scientific, and humanitarian cooperation, opening new opportunities for joint development.
