On June 11, 2025, the Investment Promotion Agency signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UAE-based company JLL to attract foreign direct investment (FDI) to Uzbekistan and expand opportunities for Public Private Partnerships (PPP).

Under this agreement, JLL will regularly send industry experts to Uzbekistan to meet with stakeholders and provide strategic guidance on investment matters. The company will also work together with the Agency to develop investor materials and promotional documents focused on identified priority sectors.

Mireille Azzam, JLL’s Head of Strategic Consulting for the Middle East and Africa, emphasized:
“Uzbekistan has significant untapped potential for investors seeking strategic growth opportunities in Central Asian market.”
