On July 15, 2025, the Investment Promotion Agency signed a cooperation agreement with one of South Korea’s leading industrial companies, KCC Corporation, to implement an automotive paint production project.
The project will produce 335 tons of automotive paint annually, with the first phase scheduled to launch by the end of this year. The parties also agreed to cooperate in preparing the necessary documentation to successfully implement the project, engaging qualified specialists, and organizing meetings and negotiations with representatives of both the public and private sectors.
For reference: The Agency and KCC Corporation held their first meeting on April 10, 2025, with support from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea. After this meeting, KCC Corporation began practical steps to start operations in Uzbekistan.
