On April 10, 2025, the Investment Promotion Agency held a meeting with the delegation of the Polish company Bart, led by CEO Mr. Piotr Petruszynski. The meeting continued the dialogue initiated in February and focused on the implementation of an investment project to establish a freeze-dried fruit and vegetable processing facility in Uzbekistan.
The project is planned to be implemented in stages, taking into account local infrastructure and market conditions.
For reference: Founded in 1990, Bart is a Polish manufacturer of natural food additives and dehydrated fruits and vegetables. With over 30 years of experience, Bart supplies major producers in the food industry across the EU and conducts trade with countries in Asia and North Africa.
A representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan also participated in the discussion and provided information on domestic value chains and local raw material suppliers.
The Agency reaffirmed its readiness to provide information support and facilitate the project throughout its development and implementation stages.
