On January 30, 2025, Tashkent hosted the Uzbekistan-France Business Forum. The event served as a key platform to discuss opportunities for expanding economic cooperation, attracting investments, and launching joint projects.
The forum was organized by the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Investment Promotion Agency of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the Movement of French Enterprises (MEDEF). Representatives from leading French and Uzbek companies, government institutions, and industry associations participated in the event.
The forum featured thematic presentations and reports from key sectors such as mining, pharmaceuticals, energy, infrastructure, electrical engineering, and tourism. Additionally, B2B and G2B meetings were held, enabling participants to explore promising investment projects and initiatives.
The event concluded with an open discussion led by the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Khodjayev. It highlighted the forum’s importance in strengthening trade and economic ties, improving the investment climate, and advancing cooperation between the two nations.
