On April 15, 2025, the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency hosted a meeting with delegation from “Uzbekistan Technological Metals Combine” JSC (UzTMK), headed by Mr. Ilhan Han, Advisor to the Chairman.
During the meeting, UzTMK presented its concept for establishing an industrial hub focused on the processing of critical materials. The concept encompasses the full value chain — from geological exploration to final product manufacturing.
The project includes the establishment of an R&D center and a nanolaboratory, aiming to strengthen high-tech production and enhance export capacity. UzTMK aims to implement key investment projects between 2025 and 2028 and emphasized the importance of engaging both international and local partners to deliver its strategic program.
The Agency invited UzTMK representatives to showcase its initiatives at the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum, scheduled for June 10–12 this year.

The Combine extracts and processes strategically important industrial minerals, develops technologies for the comprehensive separation of valuable components from ores, and carries out research and development work in this field.
