On April 8, Lisbon hosted Uzbek-Portuguese business forum, along with a series of meetings, bringing together representatives of government bodies, business communities, and relevant organizations from both countries.

As part of the events, UzIPA had negotiations with a number of leading Portuguese organizations and companies, including AICEP, Autentibrisa, Capgemini, Azinor, Orica, as well as the Portuguese Industrial Association (AIP). During the discussions, they explored opportunities to implement joint projects in industry, information technology, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure, and the hospitality sector.

Special attention focused on strengthening institutional ties, including engagement with AICEP, expanding direct business-to-business contacts, attracting Portuguese companies to projects in Uzbekistan, and organizing future business missions.

Following the business forum and bilateral meetings, both sides confirmed their interest in deepening cooperation. They agreed to continue advancing priority areas and build a portfolio of joint projects.
