ZTE Regional Service Center

ZTE is a global provider of telecommunications equipment, network infrastructure, computing solutions and digital technologies. The ZTE Regional Online Service Center began operating at IT Park in Tashkent on 18 March 2026, with ZTE publishing its formal international announcement on 7 April. The centre is designed to provide online services, technical support and technology solutions for customers in Uzbekistan, other Central Asian markets and Europe. This regional mandate places an international service-export function inside Uzbekistan and gives the Tashkent operation a multi-market role.
The Ministry of Digital Technologies reported that IT-service exports from Uzbekistan generated through cooperation with ZTE reached US$5 million in 2025. The ministry described this as a twentyfold increase. The figure provides a direct quantitative indicator of foreign-market services connected to ZTE’s activity in the country and gives the new centre a proven commercial base for further regional work.
The centre is also intended to expand high-skilled employment and professional development. Its activities include remote technical assistance, service coordination, support for telecommunications and digital infrastructure, and the transfer of practical knowledge to local specialists. Locating these functions at IT Park creates a platform for Uzbek engineers and service professionals to work with a major international technology vendor and serve multiple markets from Tashkent.
At corporate level, ZTE reported revenue of RMB 133.90 billion for 2025, up 10.4 percent year on year. International revenue reached RMB 44.16 billion, an increase of 12.4 percent, while research and development expenditure totalled RMB 22.76 billion, approximately 17 percent of revenue. Revenue from computing-related businesses grew by more than 150 percent and represented 24.6 percent of the group total.
