Maxam-Chirchiq

Situated in the city of Chirchiq in the Tashkent region, Maxam-Chirchiq JSC is a foundational nitrogen chemistry enterprise operated as a joint venture with Spain’s MaxamCorp International S.L., which acquired a 49% equity stake in the facility. Its business brings together fertilizer manufacturing and the production of chemicals used by other industries.

The complex processes natural gas feedstocks into more than 40 distinct industrial chemicals and agricultural nutrients, serving as a primary supplier for domestic farming and mining sectors. The plant maintains an annual production capacity of 450,000 tons of ammonium nitrate, 270,000 tons of urea, 60,000 tons of ammonium sulfate, and 300,000 tons of technical nitric acid. This product range links the enterprise to several stages of agricultural and industrial production.

Maxam-Chirchiq regularly supplies domestic agricultural clusters and exports mineral nitrogen fertilizers across Central Asian, CIS, and European markets. The combination of domestic sales and exports connects its manufacturing base in Chirchiq with a broad customer market.
