Why Uzbekistan

Operating within the industrial perimeter of JSC Navoiyazot, the Polyvinyl Chloride, Caustic Soda, and Methanol Complex was constructed under a $500 million project package executed by a Chinese consortium comprising China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd. (CAMCE) and China Huanqiu Contracting & Engineering Corporation (HQC). The project broadens Navoiyazot’s manufacturing activities by bringing polymer production and basic industrial chemicals together on one industrial site.

The facility possesses an installed nameplate capacity to manufacture 100,000 tons of suspension PVC resin, 75,000 tons of caustic soda, and 300,000 tons of technical methanol annually. Its product mix serves manufacturers that require either polymer resin or chemical inputs for further processing.

The facility replaced imports of base polymers, supplying domestic piping, cable, and window profile manufacturers while directing chemical intermediate exports to neighboring Central Asian markets. The complex therefore links the chemical industry with the production of finished construction and electrical materials.
