Merrymed Farm
Merrymed Farm began operations in 2010 with 30 employees and developed into a substantial pharmaceutical employer in Namangan. Merrymed Farm was established and scaled in close cooperation with Chinese partners, who provided vital capital and technological expertise to build its manufacturing lines. This international alliance enabled the factory to integrate advanced equipment and achieve global GMP standards, turning the company into a major pharmaceutical exporter across Central Asia. By 2019, its workforce had grown to more than 700 people.
A US$25 million expansion reported in June 2019 added facilities designed for 120 medicines across seven production areas. The project included annual capacity of 15.6 million infusion vials.
In 2019, a separate regional development report recorded completion of a 54 billion soum Merrymed Farm project. The company’s manufacturing growth illustrates the development of pharmaceutical production beyond Tashkent and into the Fergana Valley.
