DataVolt

Saudi Arabia-based DataVolt is developing advanced digital infrastructure in Uzbekistan. Its first major facility, known as TAS-1, is a green, AI-ready data centre located within the IT Park complex in Tashkent.
The first phase is designed to provide approximately 12 MW of information-technology capacity. In 2026, DataVolt announced that it had secured up to US$150 million in non-recourse project financing from a group of development-finance institutions for the construction and long-term operation of the facility.
TAS-1 is being designed to support cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data localization and high-density digital services while using energy- and water-efficient cooling technologies. DataVolt has also announced a broader investment programme for data-centre infrastructure in Uzbekistan. Its projects could help establish the country as a regional digital hub and support growth in IT services and technology exports.
