UzChasys

Established in 2008, UzChasys began production in 2009. The company manufactures automotive headlights, rear lamps and other vehicle lighting equipment.
At launch, the joint venture’s reported charter capital was $5.95 million, with South Korea’s Chasys holding 30% and Uzavtosanoat holding 70%. Project financing also included a $15.2 million loan from Asaka Bank. AMS, a South Korean subsidiary of Chasys, supplied production equipment. These figures describe the project’s financing structure, including both shareholder capital and bank borrowing.
The company subsequently expanded its product range to include lighting for Chevrolet Spark and Cobalt, as well as Lada Vesta and Granta.
According to information published in May 2026, UzChasys recorded 40.76 billion soums in net profit for 2025, while its workforce exceeded 1,000 employees. These results demonstrate an established manufacturing operation with a reported positive financial result.
On 25 May 2026, Best Pipe and Parts won the auction for the 70% state stake with a bid of 332.96 billion soums. This figure represents the price of the ownership stake and should be distinguished from expenditure on production facilities.
