UzAuto CEPLA

UzAuto CEPLA was established in 2012 through cooperation between Uzbekistan’s Uzavtosanoat and South Korea’s CEPLA Co., Ltd. Based in Tashkent, the company manufactures polymer compounds used to produce automotive components, including bumpers, instrument panels and door trim. It also supplies materials to other manufacturing industries.
The company has reported measurable production and export results. An anniversary report published in May 2023 recorded cumulative production exceeding 30,000 tonnes of polymer compounds and exports worth more than $1 million. These figures represent achievements accumulated over several years.
According to its official company profile, UzAuto CEPLA has an annual production capacity exceeding 20,000 tonnes. This figure describes manufacturing capacity rather than actual annual output.
On 10 June 2026, the company announced an approximately $1.5 million foreign-investment project to manufacture air-baffle components for Chevrolet Onix and Tracker vehicles. Serial production was scheduled for the end of 2026, so this amount relates to an ongoing expansion project.
UzAuto CEPLA provides an example of international industrial cooperation supporting automotive materials production in Uzbekistan. Its established manufacturing activity and reported exports demonstrate practical results from the partnership, while the new project aims to expand its role in the local automotive supply chain.
