Asaka Motors

Asaka Motors operates a vehicle plant in the Syrdarya region. In September 2025, China’s Shineray confirmed that local production had begun at the factory, with planned capacity of 1,500 vehicles per month. This is a capacity figure, rather than verified monthly output.
In April 2026, Asaka Motors and Mansour Automotive Group announced their Asman Auto joint venture and the five-year investment programme. The $120 million represents the partners’ combined planned investment.
The project envisages initial semi-knocked-down assembly at the Asaka Motors plant, followed by a transition to CKD production. Asman Auto’s commercial activities cover MG and Wuling vehicles, distribution and after-sales services. The launch announcement also outlined a planned dealer network expanding from 10 to 25 locations over two years.
Asaka Motors combines established assembly activity with a new foreign joint venture. It is appropriately described as an emerging foreign-investment case; the announced investment programme should not be presented as fully implemented or as proof of achieved profitability.
